This is good news, I'm sure Emmy is happy to be home. Now we will wait with you till Thursday to hear the test results, praying they will be good.

Maybe that will be the case for Emmy, since she just had a change of homes and I'm sure she was stressed by it.

more vibes for Emmy!
That is a very interesting thought!! It's quite possible and would totally make sense. It has been a hard adjustment for her here. That makes me feel better.

Aww, poor little girl - but she'll forgive you. I'm hoping your vet's thoughts are correct. Usually, it seems doctors are very reluctant to offer 'hope', unless they're pretty darn sure in their own mind. I mean, none of us has a guarantee, but do try and relax til you get the biopsy results.

I'm so glad Emmy is home and doing well. Not trying to be bossy, but remember to give her time to adjust to everything again. I've only had one kitty have a hard time after anesthesia, but she almost took my thumb off when I tried to pet her. I know you know this already, I just don't want you to have to regain Emmy's trust.
Will continue sending those healing to your girl.

Exactly - they really don't like to hazard a guess unless they're - as darlili put it - pretty darn sure.

I'm so glad all went well, and vibes to you both! We all know how much the waiting sucks, but at least this is behind you now.

I'm so glad she's home and doing well I agree with the others that the vet probably wouldn't have said anything if he/she had doubts.

Emmy knows you are the best thing that ever happened to her. She's just not herself at the moment.

Oh, you're not being bossy at all--friendly reminders are always needed with me.

She seems to still be "sleeping it off" this morning. She wasn't interested in breakfast.
We had quite a night last night. I went to bed and could tell she wanted to jump up in the bed with me. I didn't want her doing any jumping so soon. I thought about picking her up and putting her in bed me, but didn't want to hurt her or stress out the surgery site. SOOOOOOOOO...I dug out my 30 year old sleeping bag from the back of my closet and we "camped out" in the living room together.;
After several minutes of walking back and forth across my tummy she finally settled on my chest. She slept like a baby--I did not.

thanks to everyone for your vibes!! I really believe in the power of those vibes

Aw, she is warming up really good to you!

When I found Baby K years ago, he had a broken leg and the vet ended up putting a pin in it. My daughter made an "airplane escape chute" from the floor to her bed so he wouldn't have to jump.

He still jumped, and we still laugh about it today how hard she worked on it.

Keep the good news coming!

That is absolutely adorable!

Hope the vet has good news for you Thursday, and that Emmy continues to heal and bond.
I'm still smiling about her sleeping on your chest.

I didn't have access to internet yesterday either, but was thinking about you and Emmy and praying that things went well. Obviously she isn't holding the surgery against you, since she slept on your chest last night!

for good news on Thursday.
