This is good news, I'm sure Emmy is happy to be home. Now we will wait with you till Thursday to hear the test results, praying they will be good.
That is a very interesting thought!! It's quite possible and would totally make sense. It has been a hard adjustment for her here. That makes me feel better.Originally Posted by lauren_miller
for Emmy!!
About 6 months ago, I found 3 lumps in Pandora's belly.. I had them removed and it turned out that they were just inflamed mammary tissue from the stress of my vacation. I was gone for 2 weeks and she was just stressed out.
Maybe that will be the case for Emmy, since she just had a change of homes and I'm sure she was stressed by it.
more vibes for Emmy!
Exactly - they really don't like to hazard a guess unless they're - as darlili put it - pretty darn sure.Originally Posted by darlili
Aww, poor little girl - but she'll forgive you. I'm hoping your vet's thoughts are correct. Usually, it seems doctors are very reluctant to offer 'hope', unless they're pretty darn sure in their own mind. I mean, none of us has a guarantee, but do try and relax til you get the biopsy results.
Oh, you're not being bossy at all--friendly reminders are always needed with me.Originally Posted by libby74
I'm so glad Emmy is home and doing well. Not trying to be bossy, but remember to give her time to adjust to everything again. I've only had one kitty have a hard time after anesthesia, but she almost took my thumb off when I tried to pet her. I know you know this already, I just don't want you to have to regain Emmy's trust.
Will continue sending those healing to your girl.
That is absolutely adorable!We had quite a night last night. I went to bed and could tell she wanted to jump up in the bed with me. I didn't want her doing any jumping so soon. I thought about picking her up and putting her in bed me, but didn't want to hurt her or stress out the surgery site. SOOOOOOOOO...I dug out my 30 year old sleeping bag from the back of my closet and we "camped out" in the living room together.;
After several minutes of walking back and forth across my tummy she finally settled on my chest. She slept like a baby--I did not.
