Cat tree with removable/washable covers?

Hey I was wondering if anyone knows where to get a good quality cat tree where the perches have removable/washable covers? With 5 cats, I will really need to have perch covers I can put in the washing machine to keep them clean and sanitized.

I don't know of any - but I think I've seen washable/removable covers for perches for cat trees online. Did you try googling it?

Not on any cat treehouse I know of. I know the window perches have removable covers. I would suggest you try to find someone to sew you a cover for some of the treehouse shelves and maybe velcro them around the center pole.

I just use a rubber brush with short teeth to keep them pretty clean of fur and a vacuum for the fuzzies or threads of carpet.

I've never seen them, but what a great idea!!

They wouldn't be hard to make if you know someone who can sew. You could attach them with either velcro, or elasticized bands.

I've got one, but the trees are produced and sold in Germany. As others have said, they really shouldn't be much trouble to make.

Actually, my friend Scott makes them. I love his condos- not only are the beds washable, but the parts are replaceable for just pennies! www.felinefurniture.com is his website. If you mention that Mary Anne sent you- he will donate a portion of the sale to my kitty rescue.
