On the Sunday after Thanksgiving in 2005, Mark and I trekked down to the city pound and fell in love with this little tabby girl. She was chowing down on her food in her crate, oblivious to the humans in the room. When the worker took her out and handed her to us, she immediately climbed up on Mark's shoulders. We decided the first order of business upon getting her home would be to trim her nails!
Here she is upon her arrival from the pound. She was approx. 7 mos old and weighed a mere 4 lbs.
The following week, she had to stay at the vet's because she was deathly ill and almost died. It wasn't until Christmas that she was well enough to be introduced to our other girl and integrated into our home. She's ruled the roost ever since!
Here she is now, a healthy (as health as a feline herpes kitty can be) and very much loved and spoiled rotten girl.
