Christmas Helpers! Share Yours!

Today I set up the tree and I was amazed (and a little disappointed) that I didn't have any help with the decorations this year. Domino waited until I put the skirt under the tree which he though I placed there just for him.

I'd really love to see other pictures of kitties helping to decorate for the season!

That's such a cool photo, Chris! Has Domino settled in well?

Nice and cozy! We don't decorate for Christmas simply because we have too many "helpers"!

Oh oh, I"m behind the times Chris......how did Domino find you? He's gorgeous!

You aren't that behind, Susie. We got him about a month after George died. He was at Petsmart and had been at the shelter for 5 months. I knew that we had room for another and just couldn't resist. He's a good boy but he loves to chase his sisters which they don't appreciate too much He had a few scratches from Megan on his nose but they are almost healed now.

His bed is about to disappear because I've been wrapping gifts this morning.

How nice of you to put the tree up for Domino! He's so cute and obviously doing well in his new home.

aww he is just making sure the tree skirt doesn't fly away
Domino is sooo cute!

Well doesn't he just look like he owns the place!

(I think I see one star shaped silver ornament that's just begging for some kitty to swat it )

One of my helpers. Hopefully this year they will be a little less helpful.

A CHARLIE BROWN TREE! I LOVE IT!!! What great helpers you have.

I was taking photos of our completed tree without flash and it wasn't until I was viewing them afterwards that I discovered a prize in the bottom corner. Swat, aka Goose, was hiding in the dark. Can you find him?

We haven't put any decorations up yet - I refuse to until December, and we'll only do it this year if we have the family get together here.

These are all great pics! Such helpful kitties you have!

I, too, refuse to do Christmas until December, so.. I think the plan is to put up the tree this weekend. I'm sure Genever will be more than willing to help out. Last year I ended up having to move everything up a row for a few days so the bottom 1/3 of the tree was bare.

I love that you found Swat in the picture. I just hope she wasn't secretly behind the three destroying packages. Already I am finding missing bows throughout the house

He was a beautiful present that's for sure! Swat doesn't usually bother with the gifts, unless there is ribbon on them. Then he EATS the ribbon. Not really a good treat for a kitty. So the rule at our house is - NO ribbon please!

LOL! Of course we expected that!

Re Swat: Sometimes kitty parents have to make those rules. I'm lucky because mine just take them off and play but don't eat them

I've got a helper too.

This was my picture on Facebook on Christmas Day last year. We haven't put our tree up yet, so don't have any pictures of her with this years tree.

This one is from two years ago. Miss Black is a feral cat who found her way into our house, but we couldn't get her out, couldn't lay hands on her! I found her about 2/3 of the way up our 7 foot tree....and since its a revolving tree, she was spinning 'round and round.......when she got down she was a wee bit unsteady on her feet for a minute, .lol!!!
