Iphone App translating your cat's thoughts?

Hello everyone,

This is my first post as I registered to be able to get in touch with English speaking pet owners as I currently live in Paris, France.

I'm the proud owner of a beautiful blue-eyed cat named Mitsi and I saw recently that an app for iPhone named AutoPet Translator could apparently "translate" your cat's meowing and (but this is bonus I guess), post them on Facebook or on your own cat's Twitter account :roll: .
The thing is, the app is only available for US and UK and therefore I cannot test it although I'm very curious to see if it actually works??:cry:

Has anyone out there tested it? It looks like a more "serious" application than the others I've seen since it seems to be able to detect if a human is trying to trick the app and imitate a cat's barking. I don't know if it's ok to post a link but here it is for those of you who'd like to test it (and tell me if it's good!:-P )

Hmmm, it sounds interesting. I have never tried it, and have no idea if it would work. It would be pretty cool if it did. Good luck on discovering if it really works!

I've never tested it, but I do remember hearing something like this on the news awhile back.

I don't have an Iphone or i'd totally try it. Although i am very sceptical of this program because how do you know if it's true? It's not like you can ask your cat if thats what they really said. Besides most owners don't need a translator we can already tell what they want (food,attention,pain,etc.). Atleast i know our cat's meows and what she wants she taught me real quick.

I have never heard of that, but I wanted to say hello and welcome. There are two of us already in France, in Normandy, and it will be nice to have a third TCS member in France.
