Oh it is so sad when things turn out like this. But you did all you could and the last thing you must do is feel bad - we all feel guilt when our babies go from us, we think we could have done more, it is natural, but he had a loving mom and home and will be long remembered. I am so sorry.

Beautiful best friend Lynxx. I see the other cats loved him too. I see lots of personality in his face, especially by the window blinds. I loved reading your memories of this wonderful friend.

That picture of Lynxx looking out the blinds. He was an indoor cat. We never let him out. Plus he never really showed an interest in going outside. We have a tent set up in the back yard in the Summers. He would hear us talking and to be close to us, he'd hop in the window, but he's so big he didn't fit, so he'd just fight his way through the blinds. He's taken out a few of our blinds over the years

Luna really did love Lynxx. From the moment she came into the house she tried to be his friend. She tried to lay down and cuddle with him, but he never wanted anything to do with her. He acted like he didn't even know it was affection. He acted like he was being attacked, if he woke up and she was next to him, he'd scream and run. I think Luna knew that he was sick. She never stopped going to him. I think she was trying to comfort him. Midnight really bothered him. All Midnight wanted to do was play with him and Lynxx couldn't. So we did every thing we could to keep Midnight away from him. That last night both Luna and Midnight knew. They both touched noses with Lynxx which is something Midnight never did before. The next morning, we had kept Lynxx's carrier with his body in the living room until we could get to the animal hospital. We tried to board up the living room with big boxes to keep the kittens away, but they jumped it anyway. They went over to the carrier and looked at it for awhile and put their noses to it then walked away. So I think they were both saying goodbye to their big brother.

Aw, that was a lovely tribute to Lynxx. He was a handsome fellow! Those tabby cats sure take your heart, don't they?

Your whole family sounds like they were in love with this wonderful boy. He had a good life with you.

Keep him in your heart. He lives there now.

God bless you all, and sweet Lynxx.

Sometimes we do all we can for our cats and its still not enough.

Lynxx is at the bridge with all out favorite cats. Without pain and healthy once again.

Remember and cherish the times you had.

Lynxx was beautiful, inside and out - and loved you as much as you and your family loved in. That was a lovely tribute.

Fighting for ferals in NW NJ!
I loved reading all about Lynxx. He was obviously a very special kitty, and will always hold a very special place in your heart. I hope the hurt will dull with time, and only the love will remain.

He's a beautiful boy, and you can see he was full of character! Love the picture of him with his head through the blinds!

Lynxx was a very good boy he never really caused any trouble not even as a kitten! I love the stripes on tabby cats! I love their ringed tails to. We all loved him the moment we saw him. My mother who hated cats said "Oh we're keeping you" those were her first words to him. I told my father that we found a cat. He was in the shower at the time. I could hear him yelling about how we can't have a cat in the house. When he finally got out even in mid yelling, he looked down at Lynxx and Lynxx looked up at him. My father grabbed him from my arms and wouldn't give him back the rest of the night. I just keep remembering those beautiful baby blues he had back then!

I think when we finally can bring Lynxx back home here I'll probably start to feel better then.

I've known quite a few cats, miss a few of them, but Lynxx is the 1 I'll never forget. Just wish he was here with me a little longer.

My4..that was a lovely tribute to a beautiful boy!! We all wish our dearly departed kitties were still with us, and believe me..they really are. Lynxx will never leave your heart, full of love for him, and your memory cells. You'll never forget the softness of his fur, the comfort of his hugs, the look of love in his eyes...you and he were trueblue friends.

We're glad you found this site, too. We comfort you in your loss as we were comforted by others during our loss.

Enjoy your memories of him and know that he is waiting for you at the Rainbow Bridge

Take Care.
