Jericho has fleas.......again. And now he also has worms. This is the second time in about 2 months. He never leaves the apartment so I can't figure out how he keeps getting them and how we can make it stop.

The higher on the neck you apply it, the better. For some of my cats I even put it on their heads, because they're very good at reaching around and licking it off their necks. And you have to get it down to the skin. If you take your kitty to the vet, you can have them put the first dose on, and show you how to do it properly for the next doses.
To treat the carpets, salt or borax can work quite well. They both work by dehydrating the fleas. If that doesn't work, a pesticidal carpet powder may be necessary. But if the flea infestation is not severe, just treating the cat may be enough.
