It's been HOT here in Dallas... Really hot... to make matters worst, I live in an old building - circa 1940s, so once they turn the central heater on, there is no air conditioner - it is one pipe system for the whole building, you can only control the temperature.
So, I have been longing for some colder times.... Wel, it is coming... fast!
Right now, 4am Thursday, it is 73F. In 24 hours it is going to be 32F!
In another 24 Hours it is going to be 29F.
We will have thunderstorms and winds over 35 MPH tomorrow, so I can expect some TV problems too

At least we will have some cozier nights, I guess!

How's the weather where you are?

Well the temp is right around the freezing point and we've been going back and forth between rain and flurries.
Give me the heat ANY day. There's been crazy winds lately too.

Right now its 7* F at 8am. I do believe with the windchill and temps, it will feel like 5* F most of the day. Hello Minnesota winter!

I live across the Metroplex from Carolina and the temp now at 8:45AM is 40º. The wind has died down some, but it's still gusting at 25mph. The rains haven't come, but the day's not over with yet!! It really makes it feel like Thanksgiving, though.

About the same as where you are!

However, they said a huge cold front was coming in Tuesday. As you know, it didn't happen. When I went to OKC Monday night, it was cold (45 degrees up there), and I figured it would be down here soon. However, as you know, Tuesday was warm, Wednesday was very warm (85), and it was actually warmer in OKC on Tuesday night than it had been Monday.

As you know, our weather here is very dependent on the wind, and I think it has finally shifted.

Oh wow, I remember the temps in Texas dropping like that! Once I went to class and by the time I got out, the temperature outside had dropped 50 degrees F!

Your building sounds really neat, you should have some winter parties.

We have lots of snow on the ground here, but it's supposed to warm up to above freezing this afternoon. We've been in a deep freeze since last weekend.

it is 39F right now... So according to Stephanie, the temperature dropped about 30F in a few hours or less... And a bit of rain... yey, cozy day... Love it!
Well... I am glad - at least I can feel comfortable now!

The heat was killing me and the kitties!

It's in the 70s outside today, and my house is pushing 80F
I could use some of those colder temps

About 15F here today - yesterday freezing rain/sleet made icy roads for travel just before the holidays.

It's about 3°C/37°F right now, but the forecast calls for snow and lower temperatures tomorrow, probably down to -6°C/21°F by tomorrow night.

Today it took 1 hour.

Thursday morning gave us our first bout with snow and freezing rain. Yay....not. By the afternoon, though, it had changed over to all rain. It was still raining this morning when we left to do some shopping, but now the sun is trying to peek through the clouds. We're at a nice 48 degrees right now.

Yesterday we got our first load of snow, I poped over to see jenny in the afternoon and it was snowing a little at my house but nothing at Jenny's, I was there about an hour and it did start snowing, omg trying to get home
its not called the suisse normand here for nothing, I didnt think I was going to make it
slipping and sliding up hills in first gear. I was shaking like a leaf by the time I got home

Today most of my snow has gone but up on the hills it still looks thick and we are in for a really cold week end, forcast says up to -12c. eek.
