Update on Handsome AKA CAT

He is doing GREAT! He is eating/drinking very well. We have started leaving the door to his room open so he and the others can come and go as they like. One little hiss from him when Stormy came be-bobbing around a corner and startled him. Other than that nothing!

He is using the litter box like a champ! His former owner said he refused to use it. Well if it is full of course he went else where! I have been keeping it very clean and he goes to use it every time!

He has gained .6 lbs so far! 10.4 when I first got him on Sat. up to 11.0 this morning!

He has a light in his eye and a bounce in his step. His tail is up and waving every time I see him. I even saw him trotting across the room! HAPPY, HAPPY, Joy, JOY!

That is wonderful progress. Handsome sounds like the greatest name for him.

"Handsome" is a good name. But I'm of the opinion that CAT is great name. It's the name from Breakfast at Tiffany's, and that's a great cat story.

But whatever his name, he's such a fortunate guy to have you, and it sounds like he really knows it. I bet he will never forget that you gave him an orderly and safe home - with square meals and a clean liter box. My Claude, who was brought home after 3+ years in a shelter, is always "telling" me how grateful he is that I found him, and he's been home for 3 years now.

That new cat of yours will have the best Thanksgiving yet!

I am so glad he found his way to happiness thanks to you and your love you have to give not only your cats but others. And I hope he continues to thrive in your home.

Bless you for taking him in! I saw his picture in your earlier post and he reminds me of my sweet RB kitty Paws. He is lucky to have found you and you him!
