Today Nov. 22nd has been two years since my Misty left me. Time is supposed to heal all wounds but this wound of mine has not healed much at all. I think of Misty just about every day and pray for her soul every night as I do for all my family members I have lost.

Misty just know that your mommy still thinks of you and will love you for the rest of her life. You will always be my beautiful girl.

Your Misty watches over you and sees your tears. She wishes the pain would stop, but your love was so special and the bond so strong. There can't be a time limit on grief. It's so personal. Her time with you was a gift for both of you and having her in your life has helped make you the person you are now. Don't rush it, friend. Misty was a true feline masterpiece!!

Thank you so much ladies. Your words mean a lot to me and you understand me since I'm sure you have gone thru this too. I always knew it would be like this because as Misty got older, I would wonder how I would live without her and now I know and it hasn't been easy.

She lived to be 3 months short of 16. Thanks again everyone.

Misty was beautiful. I am sorry for your loss and your ever present pain. They never leave our hearts, do they. We just learn to live with the loss. Hugs.

{{{{{LaRussa}}}}} These anniversaries can be so hard. We do heal, gradually, with time and support (which you'll find here at The Cat Site, where everyone understands how important Misty was and still is to you). But that doesn't mean we stop missing them. As Sonya Fitzpatrick wrote, we never stop missing them -- we just get used to living without them. It helps to remember that this is only a temporary separation and we will see them again. And in the meantime our furangels are watching over us.

I hope you had a very special dream, or some other sign from your sweet beautiful Misty, to help you through this anniversary.

Hugs,

Cindy
