Kiefer made it through his surgery just fine. He has been playing non-stop since we got home an hour ago. Aoibhe gave up on him and is taking a nap.

AWWWWWWWWWWWW so adorable!! I love them both
I hope you ca solve the hernia problem. When I first got Lucas he had a hernia, a big one, the vet told me he had to have surgery when he got older (Lucas was just 3 or 4 weeks old when I found him), but when he started growing it got fixed by itself and he didn't have to have surgery.

Thanks everyone. Kiefer made it through his surgery just fine a couple of weeks ago and has been on the run with Aoibhe ever since. I will try to post some more pictures, but as anyone who has had kittens knows, a lot of them are blurred streaks.

Jana, I obviously missed this thread, but I'm so glad I saw it now! THEY ARE ADORABLE! I agree - you forgot the cuteness warning!

Hernia problem solved after the surgery?

Please find time for a few more pictures! And how are intros going?

I know the pain's still there.... but hopefully you're terribly distracted and enjoying the new loves too.

Much is still greatly missed as the perfect lap kitty. DH is slowing working on the twins to make them lap kitties instead of shoulder kitties (ala Lucy and Carly).

The introductions are ok. Carly is fine as long as they don't end up in her face. She will sniff them and Kiefer likes to sit beside her, wrapping his tail around her. Lucy is more of a concern. She will get herself into such a fit of growling and moaning that she can't calm herself down. I've been considering an anti-depressant for her. Until then, she gets time outs and Rescue Remedy.

We do have a concern with Aoibhe. She has had Uveitis since we got her so we're taking her to a eye specialist today. That will be an adventure as it is about a 45 minute drive and she really likes to howl when she's in the car. I expect to be deaf by the end of the day.
