apparently wellness doesn't make them and nutro doesn't make them. Does anyone make pouches for kittens, Samara adores that consistency and it would be a good thing to get for my husband to give her in the morning. Often times he doesn't have time to heat up her canned food so she bugs the crap out of me until I get up.

or can we give her adult pouches if it only makes up like 25% of her diet? She's almost 5 months.

The pouches Nutro did make for kittens are just being packaged in 3oz cans now. They package their own food and the facility didn't have pouch capabilities so they went to 3oz cans. It is still the same just in a can now. I believe there are 5 in the Natural Choice line and 3 in the Max Cat line that are kitten formulas. If they have a sauce/gravy it should say it on the label, if that is the consistency your little kitten likes.

I hope this helps.

Check the "adult " pouch on the back for the AFFCO seal ... look to see if it says for growth and maintenance or all life stages or adult maintenance ... If the last one it would not be a okay sole food for kitten but the other two are just fine

thank you! Samara will eat anything right now. I guess the problem is more with my husband he is suppose to feed her before work but often times (4 out of 5 mornings he's in charge of feeding)he's in too much of a rush and forgets. Mainly because he doesn't have time to warm it up so I figured if we had pouches he could just rip one open and be done. Now her a.m. meal consists of 1/4 can of warmed up food she didn't finish the day before.

Just checked and all brands of pouches say for maintence. So i'll have to continue to get up with her until he can find 30 seconds in his morning schedule.

Hills, Royal Canin, Optimum and Iams make kitten pouches. Though small tins are the same size as a pouch and take the same time to open.

i'll look into the other brands not sure they have pouches of those brands here
. although my husband said he has time to open a can but not heat it up and add the water like I do. So I guess our compromise is we'll have to get little cans and he can just do that and any left over i'll pick up when I get up 2 hours later.

The Nutro cans are 3oz just like the pouches were so if you didn't have any leftovers with the pouches hopefully that will be the case with the cans.

I usually do the feeding around here. When I let my husband do it he ends up feeding the dog the cat food and the cat the dog food.
I always have to double check his efforts.

Whiskas actually makes those pouches... choice cuts, they're called.

I saw them at Petco today.
