When I joined TCS in 2003, I had one DSH and five Himmys... in the past few years I've lost those cats, and find myself with only three....one of whom will not stay still for pictures!

Spitfire (Spitz) is about a year and a half old, tiny - she weighs @3 lbs, but with plenty of Attitude! Sam, the grey one is about 5 years old, 15 lbs, we inherited him at the bakery, and brought him home when we closed it up. He's the only cat I've seen yet who can play with Spitz and take what she dishes out... and she'll make him cry, lol!!

Spitz:

And Sam:

And, yes, for the record, unless Spitz turns out to be FeLv+ at some point in her life, I am out of the rescue circle now....I just reached a point where my heart could no longer take the strain.

They both are so cute, but I WANT SAM!!!

You are an angel for taking in these babies with FeLv. What such a blessing you are to these kitties. I can only imagine how hard it must be.

Lol, you'd have to wrestle my hubby for Sam, I'm afraid! Sam is definitely a daddy's boy! And I should make myself clear, neither of these two are FeLv+, they're both healthy kits :-)

Ok, I'm up for the wrestling!
Yeah, I figured these two weren't FeLv+, but I'm guessing those in the past have been? They are beautiful/handsome.

Your babies are adorable!
I completely understand having to take a break from rescue. I foster for the local shelter and my heart is constantly broken...

Thanks guys! These guys are sweet, but its so very strange to me still to not have at least one Himalayan in my house......maybe one day, I will again, but right now, three is about the right number for us. And pics of the third kitten....he's six months or so old, black with a white patch on his chest, white whiskers tipped in black...and every pic I try to get of him turns into a black streak, lol! And he has enough feral cat in him that he's hard to sneak up on even when he's asleep... but I'll keep trying!

They are lovely cats. Congratulations!

Well, maybe four, but I doubt it?..... She's a very petite boned girl, very slim built.... looks more like a six month old kitten than an adult cat....but in attitude, she's gotta weigh at least 20 lbs, lol!! Thanks for the compliments, ya'll!
