The husband went to take the trash out this morning while I was in the shower and came back in and says, "Are you still in here?" As I got out of the shower, I said, "Yes, why?" He then says to me, "Well, your truck is missing." What the heck!?!

It was a 1991 GMC Sierra and PAID FOR!! In 2005, we had the transmission rebuilt and a brand spankin' new engine put in it. We had the AC switched to the new kind of system and it was well maintained. It had 216,000 miles on it and it was just time to have the oil changed. I loved that truck! If we get it back, it won't be the same.

We've filed a police report and found out from the officer that came out that another vehicle was stolen a few blocks away. It was closer to the interstate than we live, but still most likely related. I'm waiting on the insurance guy to call me back. Thankfully, my dad hadn't changed the coverage on it (It's in his name, but I've been driving it for 15 years.) so it's insured to the hilt.

OMG! My friend's car was stolen, then used in an attempted kidnapping. All turned out well, however; thankfully, the child that was about to be taken ran to safety. And my friend got her car back unharmed. to getting your truck back safe and sound.

We had our 1997 Ford F150 stolen back in 2002. Man, that's a disgusting feeling, so you have my sympathy. Our truck had only 40,000 miles on, was paid for, didn't have a scratch on it, and I hadn't even had to buy tires for it yet!

It was recovered a couple months after we replaced it.

That stinks!
I'd be so mad if it was mine. Even with insurance you won't get what it is worth to you.

Maybe they will find it and it won't be so bad.

Wow, stolen from your driveway?!?! That's just disgusting. I'm so sorry that's happened to you. I hope the police can find it and the thief.

Oh, that leaves such a bad feeling in your stomach. I know how you feel - I had my car stolen from outside my house some years ago- I actually heard it being started up and ran to the window and watched it being driven away! It was recovered a week or two later on the other side of London, but I never felt the same about it afterwards - it was as though it wasn't mine any longer. Good vibes though for yours being brought back safe and sound.

That really sucks.

My friends had theirs stolen from their driveway a few years ago, while they were sleeping in the room right above the driveway. It's such a bad feeling.
I hope the insurance isn't a headache for you.
