I am so heartbroken. My daughter's dog Rosie is about 13 years old. I am taking her to the vet tomorrow, most likely I will have to have her put down. She has been in congestive heart failure for several months. She is starting to sound really bad. I have been keeping her alive for the sake of my daughter. We got Rosie for Lisa when she was 7. Lisa is a special needs girl, she has a mild intellectual disability as well as cerebral palsy, ADHD, severe anxiety disorder. Rosie is the only friend she has ever had. Jim and sat Lisa down and explained the best we could. She is bawling and screaming. please don't put anything on facebook, she is on mine

Rosie looks worse this morning. Lisa says she understands, we must do what's best for Rosie and it isn't fair to have her live in pain. I will phone the vet as soon as it opens.
