On the west side of... of... somewhere.
This morning, I was treated to a game of Tag with Portia. I gave her some head scritches and then she tagged my foot with her paw as I walked past her (I was getting ready for work). She followed me into the bedroom, bounded over stuff and hid behind the door. Well, her front half was hiding...

So i put my socks on, gave JoJo (who was watching all of this) some kisses and scritches, and stood up to leave the room. Portia bounces out from behind the door, pounces on my foot (no claws), then bolts out in front of me. She starts running around the apartment like a silly goofball.

She had me laughing the whole time... I have on my hands one silly little girl... and one Miss Grumpypants (JoJo) who has a foul mouth when speaking to her little sister. Of course, she used that same potty mouth on Jack all the time too...

Someone's personality is starting to really shine... Portia's nickname is Little Miss Underfoot. She lives up to her personality type of "Personal Assistant" from the assessment at C.A.T.

Sounds like a fun morning for everyone!

My crew think I am a lousy tag player, because I am too slow and I can't climb trees.

I think she's finally learning that JoJo is just a potty mouth... although she did try to chase Portia off this morning from breakfast... but it's only been a little over two weeks... nearly three... so, we're not doing too badly considering how grumpy JoJo can be...

And that mouth of hers... sheesh.

That's so sweet! Glad Portia is settling in and starting to show her personality. What a fun way to get ready in the morning!

I agree!

I used to place "Chase" with Chynna when she was younger. I'd run around the wall that divides my kitchen from dining/living room and she would chase me. Then she would stop and get wise and turn around and come at me the other way, and I'd run the other way.

I tried that with Abby, but she's more the "Peek-a-boo" kind of kitty. Much prefers a more sedentary play style to what Chynna liked.

You've never been cussed out properly until you've been cussed out by a cat!

You had a great morning!

My morning is now filled with adventures with Mollipop while I'm getting ready for work. She loves me to hold her while I'm brushing my teeth so that she can bat at my toothbrush...she literally hangs onto my t-shirt with one paw while she's batting at the toothbrush with the other. Then she plays with my dental floss. She doesn't like the hair dryer, so while I'm sitting on the edge of the bathtub to dry my hair, she likes to jump up and try to knock the hair dryer out of my hand. She chews on my hairbrush. She likes to chew on the nightlite in the bathroom; it's one of those small lights with the revolving shade....well, it used to revolve (before Molli came into the house!). And she loves the smell of Listerine....I have to rinse the sink out very well every morning!

In between that, sometimes BooBoo will come in because he wants to Bounce. Mollipop is very curious about Bouncing. As Boo and I take off Bouncing throughout the house, she sits in the bathroom doorway and watches with those big eyes of hers. I wouldn't put it past her to try to Bounce with me one of these days.

All in all, getting ready for work these days has become quite an adventure!
And I wouldn't have it any other way!
