Hey everyone!

I am asking you if you can all do me a HUGE Favor and send TONS OF Healing TCS VIbes for my friend's kitten.....

Here is what happened...

About a month or so ago they adopted two of the cutest female kittens. Their son wanted a cat for so so long that they finally got two kittens when they moved into their new home. My friend's Husband FEEL MADLY In Love with the two kittens and has been taking non-stop photos of them and they have all the cat stuff a kitten could want...a mega cat condo tons of toys, treats and food. Basically he is a die hard cat lover (was very interested in this site) things were going well until today....

MY friend came home after picking up her son and discovered that the one of the kittens got her head stuck between the posts on one of their dinning room chairs. They couldn't figure out how to get hte cat free so they took the cat and the chair down to the emergency vet....

The vet got the cat free and started her on high dosages of steriods because she is paralyzed. In trying to get her head free the kitten managed to hurt her neck pretty badly. They will know by tomorrow if it is just a tempoary thing or if she is premantely paralyazed and if so if they are going to put her to sleep or not.

The whole family is devasted. They LOVE this kitten they even were training her to walk on a leash so she could go outside safely. My friend is really taking it hard saying that she thought they had completely kitten proofed the house. Her husband and son are really upset.

PLEASE send them some healing TCS Vibes for a miracle, this is breaking my heart because the cat is so so cute but i don't knwo if it is the beautiful calico or the white one that is a spitting image of my Tilly.

Thank you.

I am so sorry! It seems no matter how hard we try, there is always something that can go wrong.

I hope it is a temporary thing. Poor little thing. Many hugs and prayers for this to end happily.

Please update when possible - and I so hope with good news - and I don't think anyone would have thought about the dining room chair - I know I never have, and I think my little cat could definitely stick her head through some of the seat back.

ok I just spoke with my friend....good news and bad....

The BAD news is she still doesn't have any movement in her rear right leg or any control over bladder and bowel.

BUT the good news is...she was able to move her left rear leg. Which is great since she regained movement in one of her legs within 24 hours. My friend is hoping this is a good sign.

The Vet is going to keep her for another 24 hours and keep monitoring her progress. My friend said she will get an update this afternoon.

So please keep those wonderful TCS vibes coming.

We had a kitten at the shelter that got one of its arms caught in the cage door. He hung there for at least 16 hours. He had a sore and his arm was cold. We kept him isolated, and he recovered pretty well after a couple of days. I hope that will be the experience of this kitten, too.

My friend just let me know that the injured kitten is the one that looks just like my Tilly.

Thank you all for the vibes!

Oh I just read this now. What a horrible accident! Poor kitten, and poor family! It seems like a definite good sign that there was some movement today, I am sending tons of vibes that the kitten will make a full recovery.
