My cat Gizmo is 8 years old have had him since a kitten. He is a male and declawed. Whenever there is another animal outside he can see he will attack whoever is closest that I understand, but how to break it?
Also when there are loud noises new noises he isn't use to, cell phone ringing, me moving things around to much he will attack, no warning signs he just pounces. It comes and goes and after he attacks he goes into an odd mood and seems like he is sulking. This last time he done it while I was excercising and my phone rang so he got over stimulated or something broke skin but right as I said ouch pretty loud he let go and ran and hid!
I am glad to now this is kind of normal with cats but would greatly appreciate any help on how to break it? I am trying to re socialize him, it has been a few years since he has really been around other animals.
