Small things are big victories for Lola, and this is one of her many accomplishments! After 4 (?) weeks of having the new cat tree, she's finally gotten up/on it!

Normal cats climb the shelves (along the right side). Lola's not normal, she quite literally scales the "left" side to get on top of the house part, then uses the windowsill to pull herself up on the shelf.

What a cutie!! Big congratulations to Lola!! Does she cry for you to come get her down or can she do that herself?

Oh she can get down. She just steps off the edge & the floor jumps up to meet her.
Yeah, she pretty much just falls straight down to the ground. There are now comforters around it for bounce back.

I'm very impressed she figured this out, now. We had to increase her Pheno dosage (from .35 to .38 two weeks ago, now up from the .38 to .40 since yesterday) due to breakthrough seizures. That's not much of an increase, and still a low dosage, but she's still normally "dumber" than normal when I fiddle with her meds dose.

Fighting for ferals in NW NJ!
I remember our home looking like a giant padded cell when Ming Loy learned to climb up the trees.....
She knew to climb down - she was just MUCH better about climbing up than climbing down!

Tex will "launch" himself at the backside of the cat tree and shinny up the darn thing (sisal posts) like it was a real tree!! But he does know how to get back down.
