I agree. No way would I have left my cat there
I consider that to be cruelty. That cat could have been hurt. Those gators can strike before you know what is happening. Nothing those people could have done after the fact.

Idiots!!!

Like Robin Mead, my favorite newscaster, I couldn't believe there were people standing around laughing. There is no way I would have let that cat get that close to those alligators.

I don't think the cats are their pets, to me it seem they are somewhat semi-ferals as they don't even use the cat's name at any point, just talks about a cat.
But I agree, I would have chased the cats off, and the kid too just in case.

There's definitely something odd going on there. It's not just the cats that could have been hurt, but the little boy and the bigger guy got so close to the gators and didn't seem concerned at all. Maybe this was shot at a preserve of some sort for toothless alligators

Maybe, but even without teeth, there's a bite pressure of 2,500 pounds per inch (I think - Something high like that) -and that would be fatal.

Well I think YouTube would try to take down something like that if they saw it. If I were the owner of YouTube I'd do that - and more. I'd have my staff record the uploader's computer and other info, then launch my own investigation and/or report them if appropriate.

I think you bite pressure is pretty close. Even a fraction of that would be enough to be fatal.

YouTube would never take this down unless it were to get flagged by like 100000 people. They're pretty lenient. If it's not copyright material, it's probably going to stay on there.
