This week is Velvet's birthday! 
(I'm not sure of the exact date she was born. My mom and I adopted her from the Humane Society when she was a tinsy little kitten 
). I've had her since I was 10-11 years old (I'm a bit sleepy at the moment so I can't recall if she is now 14 or 15...I need to find her old adoption papers!) She was my first kitty and has been the best cat I could ever ask for! My Velvet and I definitely have a very special bond It's also because of her that I got soo involved in animal rescue and have developed such a huge love for animals
