Squinting eye after anesthesia?

Vet just closed, receptionist seemed annoyed I called and had her repeat about the eyes but they are closed tomorrow. I guess I worry too much I just had no preparation about the eyes. Apparently they put goop in them with anesthesia. Its just that his right eye he squints so much, pink and cloudy and that corner part of eye they have it comes out alot to cover his eye. Just tell me this normal, its so sad to watch. They did cleaning today around noon, called at 1:30 said he was doing great and I picked him up at 4. You start to wonder if he scratched his eye being so wabbly waking up unless it felt itchy too him I dont think he would? He seems really hungry but I am going really small every 75mins to be safe. Seems 60 percent less tipsy already.

When coming out of anesthesia, I've seen cats with pink/red rimmed eyes before. I *think* it's just normal, but not 100% sure on that.

IDK about the squinting, but my cat had one eye dilated & the other was not, like if a light was shining in it.

He was fine the next morning, I guess it was just a reaction to the anethesia.

Well its 24hrs later just about, his squint radius is much smaller the eye is open more but you can see what looks like a small contact lens over his middle eye still. So it seems there is still some to evaporate or whatever? They are closed on Wednesdays. I guess I can call tomorrow morning if its still there. You have to have the light in his eye to see this layer still over his eye and see that he dont look quite right yet.
