Way to tell what you have read

I get lost in the forum threads as everytime some one posts it bumps that thread which is great. No complaints there. I just would like a way to tell which thread I had been in. In another board I frequent the thread changes color after you select it. Is this possible on our boards? I hope I am explaining this right.

if you reply to the thread there is a black dot on the envelope. I just reply to all the threads I read that way I knwo what I have read
