I kind of have two of them.

First, if I pay quickly any feedback for me as a buyer is in limbo unless I leave positive for the seller. I have been buying many of my daughter's presents on ebay since Pokemon is really not at stores anymore. I did have one nice soul who gave me positive without me receiving the items. I do question the accuracy of feedback with ebay due to this.

I am also astounded by the amount of bootlegs allowed on ebay. I bought her a Pokemon and when it arrived it was clearly bootleg. She likes it so I won't push it but how is this allowed?

Also, if anyone knows of anyplace in the US that I can order Pokemon on line...pm me
.

Have you tried the Toys R Us online store?

I don't know what's there, but I know a lot of stuff is there but not at the stores.

Yeah, I bought some stuff from there.

How tacky would it be for me to wrap up some of my son's Pokemon stuff? That would not be all she would get, but he has some good items in our storage locker.

I am just really strapped for cash this holiday season.

As for ebay and bootlegs. The site is so big its impossible for them to police all the shenanigans that go on there, as much as they tweek the rules and such. they only notice if someone, or many someones point things like that out to them.

BTW: pokemon is still really popular here in Japan.

Its popular here as well, but as far as toys go, its mostly bootlegs. TRUS has some but not like it used to be.
