What is or was your favorite Amusement Park ride.

I have always been a coward as a kid so only went on the least scary rides. My fav was the Whip. Does anyone remember that one. Also loved the Carousel. I went on a Roller Coaster once and never did again. So what was your favorite.

I really love both the scrambler and the pirate ship!

I guess some of the mild water rides were ok. I just didn't get into it that much. Heat, lines, noise, and standing around usually made me sick even as a kid.

The one time I finally rode a roller coaster... around 10 years ago? The person didn't adjust the safety bar down enough. A friend and I both slid partly out from under it on the loop. She was a bit bigger than I and luckily didn't slide out as much.

Now I have an official diagnosis for the medical condition I've had most of my life and its listed on "shouldn't ride if you have" type lists..

I don't really have a favorite. I love almost all of them.

Hmm the scariest ones! I have always been into really scary rides- like bungee jump, acrophobia, which is basically a really tall tower that takes you all the way up and then you free fall down..I can't remember all the ones I've been to, but I remember going to Disney world a couple of times and being so bored that there aren't any scary rides- and this was as a kid. I wanted to do a bungee jump ride when I was like 9 and my parents wouldn't even let me, because you had to sign papers that they aren't responsible for any kind of trauma you may get before you got on it and they didn't want to sign.
I don't go to amusement parks anymore because of the long lines and stuff, I get so tired and the rides are sooo short!!

Oh, and another ride I really enjoyed was called a centrifuge- basically spins really fast and makes you feel like you're squished in a vaccuum...

That actually happened to me too!! I don't remember the name of the ride I was on but it was one of those boats that swing back and forth and I was at the end of the boat so when the boat goes to the highest point I'd be suspended with my head down...Well basically if I hadn't had enough muscle to hold myself I would have fallen down!! But, I found it all the more exciting It had to be the best ride I've been on in my life!! I guess i'm just addicted to the rush I get from being so close to danger.

My favorite was always the one where you stand upright and everyone stands with their backs against the wall in a big circle and they close a cage down in front of you. Then they spin it around really fast and drop the floor down and open the cage and you stick to the wall.

I've never been a huge fan of anything that "drops" like roller coasters, etc.

I once enjoyed amusement park roller coaster and water rides....that was before years of experiencing the MTA, and every year it gets worse! There is no ride scarier then the MTA NYC subways on what is now officially off hours/ late night/ weekends!

Rollercoasters! I'd love to go back to Six Flags in Jersey and ride Kingda Ka - of course they built the biggest drop up there after I left

Also like the Pharaoh's Fury - gotta sit in the back row to get some "air" off your seat
