This may have been the subject of a thread before, and if so, I apologize.

I have straight hair and wear it straight, but use hot rollers every day for styling purposes.

My friend has long curly blond hair like a fairy-tale princess, but she says its a nightmare (I am so jealous...I can't imagine curly hair being hard to manage.
) I guess the grass is always greener....

Wash and go.

Oh wait, I do run my fingers through it once or twice after I wash it, but that's it.

I brush it?

For convenience purposes I'll put it back in a pony tail or in a large clip on windy days. When cleaning and needing it completely out of the way I'll braid or pin it up into a bun.

It won't hold curls and styling products smell terrible (I'd literally go around gagging until it was washed out) - and would likely cause my scalp to break out.
I'm not sure why the latter happens just from shampoo...

My hair is auburn-brown and naturally wavy. I alternate between wearing it down, half up, or in a pony tail most of the time. Sometimes I just comb it and go with my natural waves. Sometimes I use a flat iron if I want a sleeker look; other times I use my hot curlers for loose, romantic waves. It really just depends on my mood and how much time I have to waste honestly! Sometimes a ponytail is a lifesaver when I feel bad or lazy

mine's really short - here's a pic [NOT me!]

i usually wash it about once a week [sunday evenings or monday mornings], then use root lifter, hair wax & hair spray [sometimes also a curling iron] to fix it during the week.

I have blond super-straight hair. It's a darker blond as the years pass by, but no gray yet. I have feathered bangs and a blunt shoulder cut. Unfortunately I visited my straight hair upon my kids, and they whine about it. My daughter is pretty creative with her hair, makes the best of it. My son shaves his light-blond hair off....ugh!

Well I had my hair long for years, never styled it, always let it dry on it's own, etc. It is naturally wavy and a pain in the butt to do anything with. Last August I decided it was time for a change and a style, so that's when I had it cut into a cute chin length bob. So now I actually have to blow dry and straighten my hair, but it takes all of 15 minutes to do and I LOVE it. I've never had so many compliments in my life as I have since this hair cut. Wish I had of done it years ago.

I have long, very thick wavy hair. Usually for work I just wear it in a plait or ponytail. If I have time I straighten it, as much of a hasstle as curly hair is I find it's more versatile than those with naturally dead straight hair.

Baby fine yet about 2.5 heads worth of wavy / curly long hair.... I keep it up and back usually a pony tail ..... I have a straight iron but do not use it much... For formal or dressy times I use product to set the curls...

Fine, wavy, hip long (or should I say butt crack long
)... Don't really do anything with it besides washing and air drying. Used to do henna, but not anymore... Sometimes I do flat iron, but only a few times a year - with hair this long, I really try to minimize damage.

My hair is really wavy, and if I diffuse dry it or scrunch it and let it dry naturally I get either loose or tight curls depending on how I style it, but it basically curls naturally without any heat put in it.
On the other hand if I dry it and use a large brush while drying it gets nearly straight, but too frizzy, if I want to wear it straight I'd have to use a straightening iron.
Usually in the summer I wear it curly, I get it wet in the shower (but I dont' shampoo every day because too much washing can be bad for it) and then when I get out I use some kind of de frizz product like the garnier anti frizz serum or whatever I have on hand, then I use mousse or gel and scrunch it and run my fingers through it basically trying to achieve some kind of shape and I leave it to dry naturally.
In the winter I don't get it wet in the shower every day because I don't like to use a hair dryer (it can cause damage), and going out with wet hair might give me icicles in my hair so I just use extra anti frizz serums and stuff to keep it from frizzing too much and I wear it in a pony tail or a messy bun or something like that where I can hide the fact that my hair looks awful

My hair is a light auburn color and, when straight, hits right below my shoulders (or maybe a bit longer). This is the longest my hair has ever been (really!) and it's growing in an odd way -- I have very thick, wavy-to-curly hair, but the ends, while not split or damaged, are very wispy. And, I'm also growing out my bangs which can be a bit of a pain. But, I'm sticking with it and, hopefully, it'll even itself out in time.

I shower every night and let my hair air dry. And, when I wake up in the morning, it's usually either a complete disaster (more so in the summer as heat and humidity = frizziness) or really cute with loose curls. In the summer, I almost always had it pulled back, but, now that it's cooler, I let it rest naturally on most days. However, I'm trying to not shampoo and condition it daily and so I've been straightening it as it's easier to manage for two days that way. On special occasions, I'll bring out the curl or straighten it. But, when I'm working, 9 times out of 10, I'll have it pulled back or at least have my bangs clipped back. But, that's only because it's easier when running around and dealing with animals.

I just read through my response and realized I hardly answered the question. Essentially, I don't wear my hair any one way. It's always changing depending on the season, my mood, and what I'm doing or where I'm going. But, one thing stays the same, I don't color it and like to let is rest rather than use a million products. I'll straighten it, but not every day. More important than anything is that I want my hair to be healthy. And, it is!

My hair is dark brown, although naturally light brown, and is very thick and naturally wavy and if I put it up and its even slightly wet it stays curly and if its raining out it gets a bit frizzy. And if its raining a flatiron is useless on it and then my ponytail holder comes out. My hair gets oily very quickly and have to have it thinned out about every 8 weeks sometimes six weeks. When going somewhere nice I flatiron it and it takes forever. It was down to my waist and I went to get it trimmed and asked the girl to cut the dead ends off and she went upto my shoulders. So now I am waiting for it to grow back out.

I deal with this every time I go to the beach. Usually it doesn't go the cute way, either.
My normally sleek hair turns into a frizzy, fuzzy, mess. It's like trying to fix someone else's hair. I don't know what I'd do if I lived there full time (but for the beach, I'd find a way to manage
.)

My hair is straight and baby fine. After washing I blow dry and then use the curling iron. Even though my hair is short, I have to do these two things to look decent. Before blow drying I do apply a gel.

I have very thick, curly hair, worn short, that I have to have thinned out and trimmed every six weeks. I wash and condition it every day or every other day, depending on how unkempt it looks when I get up in the morning, and then use a moisturizing styling lotion and either blow dry or air dry it.

I have the same kind of hair, and I hate it. I want wash and wear hair, but no such luck.

When I have long hair a ponytail is sufficient. I usually wear my hair short because that way it doesn't take much time to fix.
