scratch near cat's eye. What can I do?

When I got home from work my newest kitty, Snowflake, has a scratch in the corner of her eye. I have no clue how it got there. It's not bad and it's not in the eye itself. Is there anything I can do? I don't think it warrants a vet visit. Should I just watch it? Anything I can put on it?

Don't put anything on it. Just keep an eye on it. If you see signs of infection, such as swelling, or oozing, get her to the vet right away.

Trim all cats nails.
