Daily Thread TGIF Nov 12th

I'm getting the second half of my weekly housewives dose. I love the unnessecary drama its so fun to watch other people deal with it while my house is nice and calm. Today is payday and since bf is out in the field I've got to pick up his check run to the bank and get the last little bit of running done. I really need to get my pics onto the computer and uploaded cuz I got some good ones yesterday of 3 kitties bonding over bird watching.....it made me all mushy watching them.

Morning!!

Its an overcast day with rain expected later and through the weekend.

Leaving in about an hour to drive "up north" to our property to cut evergreen boughs for holiday decorating. Hope I can get that done in about 3 hrs. A (hopefully) short visit with a BIL. Then head home.

Have some serious housekeeping to do too!

Beautiful, sunny day here today and it's supposed to be a pretty decent weekend. We have some shopping to do after work and then it'll probably be a relaxing evening at home with a few drinks and maybe a movie.

Tomorrow we'll be heading to the shelter so that Chance can go to his forever home! Wonder if I'll be able to come home without any new fosters. Tomorrow afternoon we'd like to get out for a bike ride, and just enjoy the day.

Morning.. Nice sunny Friday, only 62 now but going up to 79 supposedly, 80 tomorrow! And I'm heading to cold 30s-40s Denver this afternoon for the weekend!!! Nah, even though I hate the cold, I am so excited!!

Genever's Uncle Scott will be catsitting and kind of housesitting too since he lives only a few blocks away. He is too kind. I miss my babygirl already, but I know she will be in good hands.

So really, that's my day, have a good one! Go Broncos!!

Afternoon!

We were having some internet issues at work this morning, so I couldn't get on. Finally got things cleared up and we're good to go again.

Had a lovely day off work yesterday. I worked in the kitchen and started to decorate for the holidays.....I always start the kitchen ahead of time because it takes so long to finish.

Not much going on this weekend. DH and my brother are going to a football game tonight....our HS team is undefeated and tonight's the first playoff game. He wants to do some yard work for his parents on Saturday while I clean house. And then on Sunday, we're going out for dinner and then to the TSO concert!

Good afternoon

Feeling quite sleepy today - ended up staying at my friend's house until 10pm last night after enjoying a delicious dinner prepared by her dad for her mom's sorority group Thanksgiving dinner. Met some fun older ladies who were interested in learning about pole, chair, silks, and hoop. We (well, mostly my friend ) did a demo of all four for them and had a volunteer who was hilarious. Buuut staying out that late and doing so much so late is taking it's toll on me today!

Almost done with work for the day, then finishing some school stuff for a test Sunday (that I'm going to have to do Saturday since I'll be in Charlotte Sunday). Ready to curl up with the kitties on the couch and be able to sleep in tomorrow!

A little chilly today, only saw the car's temperature display go up to 60ºF when I went to lunch. Got put into a funk today because yet another person made a depressing comment She said that my "face looks a lot fuller." Blah! Will hopefully get my butt started on Insanity on Monday!

Afternoon everyone!

It is absolutely GORGEOUS outside today!!! Loving this weather!! I started out my morning taking Macy & Ranger on a nice walk before my dad picked me up to take me to pulmonary rehab. I spent about two hours at rehab working out and doing a little catching up with one of my girlfriends (she was one of my preceptors at the hospital I did clinicals at and she recently asked me to do the flowers for her upcomming wedding! ) After I was finished at rehab, my dad and I grabbed a bite to eat before he dropped me off at home.

Now that I'm at home and I feel pretty good energy wise, I'm thinking about taking Ranger to the dog park for a while (my apartment complex literally has a private entrance to the biggest park & dog park in my city). On the drive back with my dad earlier I noticed there were a ton of people out at the dog parks with their dogs, so I'm thinking Ranger and I might just have to make a trip there to do a little training! (I would love to take my Macy girl along too, but she needs to finish up a bit more of her basic training before I introduce her to the dog park atmosphere. )

No clue what my plans are for the rest of the day though yet...
