Initially I thought my cat injured her paw now I am starting to think that it’s a skin thing. The toes are starting to swell, spread and are red. The bottom of her foot looks irritated, like cut up almost. Does anyone know what this could be?

I found the text in this book spot on, but the illustrations aren't helpful at all. Good over all book

This mat caught my eye because of its size and texture, which traps fine litter rather well. It's large enough for jumbo litterboxes, which is also a plus. It's not quite as easy to clean as a...

This scoop was a freebie with some clumping litter I bought last year, and I like it so much that I've bought a second one. It's perfect for fine clumping litter, which it sifts very thoroughly....

Swelling could be anything. It could have been stung - even if inside only. (Depending on weather scorpions will try to come in to get out of the cold and wasps can still be active during warmer hours. Spiders are always a possibility inside.)
Or your cat could have injured their paw and have an infection now. A vet visit in the morning is really the best solution because if it is an infection it can get very nasty and make the cat extremely ill.

Please take your kitty to the vet. It could be a few different things, but your kitty needs a vet visit.
I hope all goes well. Please let us know how she is.

Yeah a vet visit is definitely in order. I had the same issue with my cat earlier this year. The paw pad was all puffy and turns out it was infected. They initially gave him an injection of an antibiotic to see if it would clear up and it didn't so they had to do surgery to clean out the infection. Since mine don't go outside he said it was likely a bite from the other cat while they were playing. The poor guy limped around for a couple of days, but haven't had a problem since.
