Hi all

I phoned Jane today to see how Harvey is, she said she has seen him tonight and he is doing fine. Still in the cage as its too early to let him out yet but she said he seems very settled and happy and he hasn't been too aggressive, he will be coming out of the cage in another 5 days. I miss him like crazy, she thinks I am mad after what he did
I told her my house is so eerily quiet and the othere kitties just sleep and not do much, they have become far too mellow
She said I did the best thing for Harvey and he us happy with his new home so far and the farmer loves him.
I have sorted my friend out with fostering for them, they had a mum kitty and 2 kittens dumped last night and the idiot that dumped them just left them in a rabbit hutch and didn't even put a note throuh the door, unfortunately one of the kittens escaped, thats how they found that they were there as it was an unused hutch and they just saw a kitten running around the yard, they haven't found that kitten as it was too fast for them but she said they are desperately appealing for its return and the mum is only approx 6-7 months herself, they are bursting at the seams with cats, it looks like my friend Kim may foster them and hopefully the other one if they find it They are ringing her tomorrow.. Its so sad and it has made me glad that Harvey has got another chance, even though I miss him so much. Dizzee has been round again tonight to look for him, poor baby, I just want to pick him up and cuddle him, he looks so much like Harvey but he just looks at me like I'm mad and runs off

Aw that's great news!
I know you're missing him, but everybody's got to be a little bit less stressed?

And the rescue must be thrilled your friend is able to foster!

The house is so de-streesed we aint movin around much, they all flippin sleep most of the time
I have noticed Billy has been a little on the grumpy side lately and he did pee on the rug the other day but I told Jane this and she said its all part of him re-gaining his territory, this is why I could not upset things and foster right now. I am missing Harvey terribly but every time I speak to Jane and get an update I feel a bit better knowing that he is happy. I just miss a bit of the good entertainment in the house (not the fights) and Harveys huge personality, of course the other kitties have a personalities but for saying I have 5 I hardly see them, they are in bed most of the time upstairs, ned to liven them up

I'm glad things are working out for the best for you, it's about time!! I'm glad the farmer loves Harvey!! He certainly touched you heart and you will always love him. He hasn't had any people in his life like that. You came along and helped him be a happy cat. So glad your friend is fostering!!

Thanks for the happy update. I can imagine your feelings must still feel pretty sharp and fresh. You don't get over something like this in only a few days.

If you see any more out of box peeing from Billy I'd get him to the vet, he may have a UTI brought on by stress.

So glad to hear things are going well for Harvey! Takes a big weight off your mind, doesn't it? You did the absolute best thing for everyone concerned, and I'm sure Harvey appreciates it, too.

I know giving up Harvey was such a tough thing to do but you did what was best for all of you. He is such a pretty boy with beautiful markings.

Sorry I didn't post in this thread sooner but I haven't been home. Glad to see Harvey is doing well in his new surroundings.
