Through the power of Feliway and my persistence... JoJo and Portia are within 3 feet of each other and (at least at the time of taking the picture five minutes ago) NO HISSING!!!!!!! (while I'm typing this, JoJo is growling a little, but nothing huge)



Earlier, during dinner, they were eating within 10 feet of each other... occasional glances at each other, but no vocalizing...

I'm sure the tension between them will continue for a bit, but this - tonight - is HUGE!!

Aww, congrats on the breakthrough!

JoJo looks a bit apprehensive with the ears back, but hey, they're both on the sofa! If being a few feet away isn't so bad, maybe tomorrow they will try being 1 foot away.. Best of luck!
