Poor Ginga!

A few days ago, Ginga was outside, simply resting and all of a sudden one of the neighbourhood came into our backyard and started yowling at Ginga, poor Ginga can't even make a loud meow let alone a yowl! I'm sure Ginga only wanted to be friends with the cat, she is such a friendly girl. Anyway, poor Ginga now has a long scratch running through her nose, I'm sure she was so scared of that cat! She ran into the garage and under the boat. We shooed off the cat that was terrorising her, the cat looks quite familiar to me except for the spots on the kitty's fur and the spots on it's tail. Apart from that (I may not have noticed it before and it may have always been there) I think it was a nice friendly cat, we call it Longear for it has very large ears, the owner of the cat has two others, they were taken from breeders and one of her others (two look the same, another is a different colour) was so close to going to (What she called "Hell") the RSPCA, may have also been the cat that terrorised Ginga. Now, Ginga seems a lot more quiet than normal, not jumping on benches and such. Even her meows (quiet though they may have been) seem even quieter now. I hope Ginga will be okay! Most cats in our neighbourhood are terribly mean to other cats (Jazzy hates cats on her territory ) Of course, in every neighbourhood there are some good cats. Ours here are Harry, the kitty that lives behind us, a small black kitten that lives down the road and of course, Ginga. Our neighbourhood is definitely filled with cats I hope Ginga recovers soon!

Jackz, Jazzy & Ginga.

Aww, bless her heart. Speck's a sweet fellow and he turns up with scratches all the time (Daisy .) Daisy, on the other hand, never has a mark on her.

I love the name Longear, BTW.

Poor Ginga, perhaps you can build her a nice enclosure so she can be outdoors safely.

Thanks nurseangel, Speck seems like a nice kitty! I thought of the name Longear after reading the Warriors series, Jazzy and Ginga both have nicknames and so do our neighbourhood cats. If you'd like to hear them, I can tell you

Believe me, I would if I could! I never have tried, we may be able to put a fence with no holes between the poles. Then we may simply be able to let them out there when we want to, also it's safer for younger children... Hmmmm...

I hope little Ginga's nose heals quickly. (I, too, like the name Longears.)
