OK, last year I asked for vibes when my DD auditioned for her musical and she got the lead. We are doing 2 musicals this year, and I didn't ask for vibes, and she got a really tiny part, and it's her senior year, therefore last musical. Sooooo....

Vibes, please that she gets a good part. They are doing Fiddler on the Roof. And...I think she's going to major in musical theater in college!!!

Good luck to your daughter!

Dd's high school's been open for 4 years this year. They've done Guys and Dolls, Fiddler on the Roof and Les Miserables. We saw 2 out of the 3 and were very impressed.

Vocal auditions were yesterday, dance and monologue auditions are today, and call-backs are tomorrow. So she'll know Thursday. Over 50 girls tried out for the last musical!

Nothing "silly" about it! Major for a big part! I was in theater in high school and a bit in college and it was a blast! Let us know how it goes.

Well, above average, about 1300 kids. The sports teams participate in 4A out of 5A so not the largest, but pretty big.

They called back about 12 girls for something like 5 parts. They sing a song and read a part, with different partners. Nicole says that "call backs went super well! They had me read and sing as Hodel 3 times."

Hodel is the middle sister, we think she would be good for that part. She said everyone sang a Hodel song, but only she and one other went on to sing in the duet between Hodel and her boyfriend Perchik!

We'll know tomorrow morning!

SHE GOT IT!!!! She got the part of Hodel, the second daughter, the only daughter with a solo piece (going to Siberia, sings "Far From The Home I Love".
