Drum roll please.......dodododoodododododoodododododoodododod I am proud to introduce to all of TCS my officially named kittens.

*hi TCS my name is Ramsie. Meowmy named me this because I'm so rammy...she figures since she has a boy name I won't mind having one either....*

*hi TCS.... my new name is Jules...meowmy wanted to name me something befitting my snooty patootie 'tude....especially since I scared her this morning when I meowed and she thought it was Fatman.... I guess I need a nice fancy pants name for my fancy pants attitude.*

They already "look" like their names. I always think cats take on the look of their names.

Weird, I know, but Beeba looks like a Beeba.

They are sweet new members of TCS. What love bugs!!

Thanks. They both just popped into my head and felt so right. I was gonna spell Jules Jewels because of her bright orange but I couldn't get Orange Julius out of my head haha so Jules came about...plus it brought royalty to mind and she has Fatmans 'im better than you' attitude....the more vocal she becomes the more she sounds like him too....it seriously freaked me out last night. Especially since I had a dream of zombie fatman..... miss fancy pants needed a fancy pants name. Haha!

I will probably still call Ramsie beebles but I will be working hard for her to learn Ramsie as her name first...then nicknames. A bit of good news about her... on her own last night she decided that wet food was not good enough for her and she wanted big kitty dry food. So now I'm mixing dry with the wet and she is also drinking pedialyte. Litter box is still a race track for her and last night bf got to see her double paw scratching and her zoomies thru the freshly scooped litter box.

I do have a few questions. Jules as of yet does not know how to jump the gate so when Ramsie is out I have the gate all the way down to confine her to just the cat room. She did get supervised living room time last night and had fun but is it safe for her to leave her out in the cat room all the time except at night. She has food water and litter in her carrier but she loves playing with the toys and started exploiring the lower level of the condo also. She has started pitching fits about going back in her carrier like full on yowls and pitiful cries.

Second question is it ok for her to be eating the dry food without it being moistened? She ate it fine but hey paranoid mom here haha.

Hey, congratulations on the decision!!
(I'm terrible too with decisions.. any decisions!)

Great names, and I see I put the Orange Julius in your head!
Are they still even around? They were yummy. At least back when I had my last one, oh.. 15+ years ago?

They are such cuties, how are the big cats doing with them? I hope they're getting settled in..
Keep the pics coming!

Cute names! And cute kitties! One of my outdoor ferals is named Jules (for Orange Julius) but he's a boy. He's orange and white, too.

BTW, what does "rammy" mean? I've never heard it before!

We use rammy as a term for overly psychotic and energetic. It started a phrase to describe Franklin going thru his never grown out of puppy phrase. Now we use it for Ramsie because she has hit the stage in her life where she is learning to do the sneak attack, running, jumping and climbing up stuff. Shes a regular jungle butt...Im sure by Christmas time when I get the tree up and shes ready to be out and about in the house I will have 2 jungle butts in the tree...Her and Gigi...Hoping that GiGi gets the bug out of her butt.

I did some reading last night and found out it takes longer for females to adjust to new additions than males. That would explain why Hercules goes into the cat room when Ramsie is out and about to play and doesnt mind her or Jules...GiGi isnt being overly snotty but she doesnt like it when Jules sneaks up on her at the counter. I caught Jules trying to sleep with GiGi but I stepped on a creaky spot and it woke GiGi up and she was not happy to see a bright orange face staring at her.

Ramsie is doing really well, she gets unsupervised/supervised play time in the cat room. I do have to put her in the carrier though to get her to take a nap and sleep a little. Although I treat her along the lines of a human baby...keep her awake during the day so she sleeps all night long. So far it works...We dont get woken up by the baby we get woken up by Jules playing in bed....I swear the first thing Jules learned was how to get in bed with us at night. Ramsie is also eating dry food but Im still making her primary meals with wet food to make sure she is getting enough water and nutrition. She gets pedialyte to drink. She is still using the litter box to play in and for potty but no more eating litter lol. That stopped when she figured out how to potty in it. Thank you Hercules for that one, she stared at him intently while he pottied and right after he was done she went into the little box and did her business.

Ahh the life of being a kitty mom....I swear BF did this just so we wouldnt have 2 legged kids haha. That and he knew as soon as he brought Jules in I would force him to keep her. We were talking about that last night and he said he needed to get his cell but any other time he would have put the kitty down come in got his phone and then told me to get outside I gotta see the kitty. He went out of his way to bring her inside knowing full well I would get all gooey and make him keep her...Like Im not on to his tricks....Silly man!!!

Anyways enough of my kitten novel....Ive got some more pictures to load onto the computer and photobucket.

BF is refusing to call Jules..well Jules and is adamently being a booger and calling her Bacon..After he agreed with his brother and gf that Bacon was a stupid name for a cat......WTH...So now we are locked in a battle of Bacon/Jules........We will just have to call her both and make her answer to both. LOL.

Personally, I like the names Jules better because she's pretty like a jewel. They're both great names (Jules & Ramsie).
