hmmm, not feeling overly creative today so here's an easy one.

How's that Christmas shopping coming???
Have you started mailing cards or ?? or presents ??

The only Christmas shopping Ive done is for SS.....There are only 4 people from the non TCS part of my life that I am buying for and that will probably happen like the week before Christmas haha.

As for mailing stuff. That will all probably start the week after Thanksgiving since I dont want to do anything too early.

Other than my SS I have very little shopping done, but I'm not really doing much this year. Dana and I are just doing our own thing, and we might just go on a road trip for Christmas.

Almost done, except for the grandchildren. I have almost finished shopping for DH. My parents always receive gift certificates as they are very difficult to buy for....nothing ever suits them. We pay for my MIL's cell phone package as part of her present and then get them a little something to open. I have a few things for my sister and her family and for my brother and his wife. Our son and DIL. That's pretty much it.

Once we get lists for the grandkids, we'll start shopping for them.

My sister and I are planning a shopping day at the outlets with her daughter and DIL. My DIL is going to try to make it, too, with our little granddaughter. So there will be six of us, inc our little one, out shopping for the day. We'll finish up by taking the girls out to dinner.

I haven't started my baking yet....I send out little "goodie" boxes to about seven people now and several of them have already asked me when their packages are being mailed. One of my friends called me last weekend to request a certain kind of cookie, which is certainly not a problem. Nothing fancy, several kinds of cookies, a miniature lemon cake, a box of chocolate covered pretzels from our local candy store. Little things like that, but people seem to really appreciate them. My niece has asked me if I could schedule a Saturday for baking with her, too.

I did start working on the Christmas card from the RugCats to include in our cards. I don't know if I'll get that finished or not...time seems to be flying by!

I haven't even started yet. I'm a last minute shopper. All I've gotten so far is cards that I will start to send out in about a month and a half

I pretty much shop as I find sales and budget accordingly, so I've already started doing a little shopping. (I'm finished up with my SS shopping and so far I've shopped for one other person I'm mailing to and my nephew, Cooper.) I still have a lot more to do, but I have time and sales to find

I picked out the Christmas cards I'll be using this year already! They're soo cute!!

Gave up the Christmas shopping a few years ago. Too much. IMO it's way over done.

We get together for a nice dinner with all our kids and grandkids and give each family a little money to do something extra with. Each year the amount gets smaller!

But we also usually buy one thing for us like something for the house. We love fixing up our old place so last year it was wallpaper for the kitchen.

So far I have only shopped for my Santee

I don't do much shopping anymore and when I do buy anything, it's usually from HSN or QVC. I stopped shopping at the malls years ago, way too many crazed people out there and when they bring their kids it's a nightmare. I'd much rather shop in the quiet and convenience of my own home.

I have taken pictures of all the doggies in the family and am making Christmas cards from them. My sister will have her dog on the card, my niece will have her dog on the card, etc.. I just need to got to Office Depot and buy the blank cards since I am just about out of them. Don't know about my friends, I may make my own cards or just use the regular boxed cards I have.

Since dating Russell I have lots more people to send cards to this year including cards going to Australia.

I have finished christmas shopping for my SS ... as for if I've sent anything, I could either still be looking at the box finding the oomph to pack and send it, OR I already found the oomph

Gonna get on the Xmas cards soon, figure Thanksgiving weekend might be a good time to get on that

I just have to shop for my dad now and of course the fur babies. Will be done with dad's gifts before thanksgiving. I only mail out about 3 to 5 cards a year so it won't be a problem.

I haven't started yet either - though we're not doing much this year. I would like to send a few cards.

I'm just so terrible about shopping and actually getting stuff in the mail - part of the reason I don't do SS!

(Laughs hysterically.) Our Xmas is this month, and I've little done. I hurt my back badly today, so I can't do anything--I had been planning to go shopping after work--but I didn't go to work today. And I can't even wrap, as the paper's in the attic, and my back HURTS.

I found out last night that we're having 5 more dinner guests, which will need gifts, dirty bingo prizes, and Xmas crackers made.
