Actually that particular ferret has only been here for about a month, he is our newest addition.
Kuan Yin was introduced to ferrets when she was around six months old, I'm guessing? Her and my first ferret, Baby Bear, were completely fascinated with each other..they played for several hours upon first meeting and then fell down asleep together..totally exhausted Kuan Yin's attitude over time has become "You've seen one, you've seen em all..."
Hestia was adopted later on, she was already ten and never been exposed to ferrets. She doesn't care to play or cuddle with them but she's not out of sorts either, she just goes somewhere high up where they can't reach her if she does not care to be around whatever they are doing.
Solomon loves all the ferrets. He was about the same size as them when we first got him so he's just treated them as littermates and still does. He's up for cuddling with any of them as long as they aren't being feisty when he feels sleepy..then he'll get up and move
All my cats live here with my boyfriend's dogs. Two of the dogs like them. The third is more just like tolerates. When Kuan Yin was a kitten she used to "beat up" my bf's flat coated retriever. It was adorable. She still does it sometimes when she's in the mood and Misfit will wag her tail the whole time as she sees any attention as a good thing.
