My cat had the tip of her tail amputated Tuesday, Nov 2. It is now Monday, Nov 8 and the metal stitches seem to be sticking out a little more than the day of surgery. Is she pulling them out? When we are home we keep an eye on her to make sure she doesn't lick or nibble on her tail. Everything else looks fine otherwise.
Thanks for any help!

If they are only slightly pulled out, it could be from the wound healing while pushing the foreign object out of the body. Keep checking to make sure she is not biting at them, and to make sure it does not get any worse. If it looks red or inflamed in any way, call the vet asap.

My Azizi had to have the tip of his tailed amputated as well a few months back. I would just keep an eye on her, but if everything looks fine, it probably is.
If you're concerned though, I would call your vet just to see what they say.
