he is so backwards...in a good way...

Well of course bf who is an avid believer that I'm nuts because I love my kitties and I love having pets....like a house full of them....

Well since fatman passed I knew at some point id want another cat.....I just didn't expect it to be so soon. The neighbors and us all take care of the cats that get dropped off at the farm. They take the kittens and pregnant ones while we take care of the long timers that live in the barns. Slowly the neighbors have been finding homes for the kittens as they got old enough.....they just didn't manage to hide the orange one from bf....or the soon to be old enough black one from me. Bf being as backwards as he is brought in the lone orange and white kitty and just handed her over...talk about shocked I was expecting to have to wheedle and sneak in a kitty but no he decided he wanted her and knew id love her because I want an orange kitty and a black kitty. Well check the orange one off my list. She's healthy only about 3-4 mths old. We aren't sure of her exact age because she was a drop off litter but she's adorable. She got a bath already...her paws were black and dirty and she's currently sleeping in a blankie next to me and franklin. So far hercules is like ooooo another girl friend and gigi is a little standoffish but not overly mad she's just curious. Franklin is having a coniption.....he thinks she's here just for him. We have to leave for a little this afternoon so she will go in the bedroom seperated from everyone with food and a litter box while we are gone. Pictures will come either tonight or tomorrow....we might name her nova for the nova bf just painted.

Yay for the new addition It's so nice when the other halves are the ones to bring in a new kitty without us having to sneak them in

Let me correct the previous post (mine).....we didn't get one new kitten we got 2. The neighbors are taking the rest to a rescue and knowing how hard it is for black cats to be adopted.....well we felt bad for the one lone little black and orange tortiouse shell kitten. They are all leaving tomorrow so we now are caring for a 5 week old kitten. No names have been decided on yet right now cuz the orange kitty smells like bacon she's being called bacon....its from the old smoke house on the farm. Tiny kitty has gotten a wee bath already cuz she had icky paws but all in all is healthy and right on schedule. I have an eating schedule planned out for her to eat 5 times a day with wet food and kmr. She eats the wet food really well and we will slowly transition her to dry by adding little bits slowly. Don't worry my dear friends I will post plenty of pictures as soon as I can. Honestly it will probably be tomorrow morning. Oh and before I forget. Tiny tiny kitty is in the carrier for her safety with a blankie stuffed animal and a little dish of kmr in case she gets thristy. I do need to get non clumping litter though....I don't want her eating any of the big kitties litter. She will have a little lasagna pan for a litter box for the time being.
