Hi everyone. Things are looking a little better today. The first night of chemo did not go well and lasted until after 3 am. I got sick when they gave me magnesium which is priotocol for leukemia folks but dangerous for mg folks.

My dh and dd made an emergency trip to stay with me and my neighbor Jan stayed the night as I was unable to speak for myself. Things seem better today.

Two more rounds and then home to kitties Tuesday. Ahhhhhhh, fresh bed with fresh cats (jan will shampoo them). They apparently hunted and ate a dove yesterday.

You learn who your friends are during stuff like this, and I know I have a whoooooooole bunch here. Purrr Purr Purrr.

Good Morning Girl!! I am so happy to hear things are going better. You were in my prayers last night many times.

Gee, Tuesday is only the day after tomorrow. You have a great support system. That's so important as we recently learned also.

Your cats ate a dove??? They need you home to keep them in line!!

You remain in our prayers and thoughts. Two days and home.

So sorry you got sick with your first chemo treatment, glad you're feeling better today. Stay patient and you will be home before you know it. Thinking of you and sending many feel better

for you sweetie . I'm so sorry chemo made you feel so crappy, but it's definitely better than the alternative! Hang in there. In a few more days you'll be home, right? You kitties will take care of you then, whether you want them to or not! Thinking of you honey for the next round.

Ah, just saw this update thread. I've been wondering how it went over the weekend and how you're doing. Sorry the first treatment didn't go so well, but I wish you a much better next round!

Glad to hear you get to go home tomorrow, I'm sure you can't wait to be back in your own bed again! (and get some overdue kitty love, too!)

Sorry that you got so sick, but so glad your family and Jan were able to be there for you. Jan's such a special friend! Hope you're doing better and not feeling so sick!
