LOL! Love that! Hannah the Hoover!
Our Rainbow Banshee ate everything. She loved breakfast cereal and DH would always have to share his cereal with her. He eats cereal at night for his snack and, she would be back in bed with me. As soon as she heard that cabinet door in the kitchen open, she'd fly off the bed and steam roll through the hallway. She'd go around the corner so fast her little butt would skid on the kitchen floor. And DH's banana...we never knew a cat who would chow down on a banana the way she did. She loved cantaloupe....she could be back in bed sleeping and, til I had the cantaloupe cut in half, she'd be at my feet in the kitchen screaming for cantaloupe. Also mangoes....boy, could she eat mango! She and I would sit at the kitchen table and I'd slice the mango, while she'd paw at me for her share. (To this day, I cannot open a cantaloupe or slice a mango without thinking of that girl. And DH still thinks of her whenever he gets cereal out of the cabinet. In fact, I think it took about three months for DH to even think about cereal after Banshee passed.)
And lord help us, if I roasted chicken or turkey! As soon as the smell would start drifting through the house, that girl would park her butt in front of the oven, waiting for that bird to come out. And the whole time DH was carving the bird, Banshee would be pacing and crying.
She loved, loved, loved tuna. Well, all the furkids eat people tuna. I learned a long time ago to open an extra can of tuna specifically for the cats. I'd split the can into six portions and they gobble it up. Even Mollipop likes tuna.
There were a lot of other foods that Banshee loved. I talked with her vet about it and she said that, as long as she was happy and healthy and still eating her regular cat food, people food as treats was fine for her.
Enjoy Pria's little food antics, Kailie.
