Does anyone remember 2 of the 1st diet sodas, Tab and Fresca? And how they tasted with the sacchrine? Anyone remember any other of the 1st others?

I think I saw diet rite in the store recently but am pretty sure there was no diet crush.

Tab and Fresca are still both around! I've tried fresca but I'm not a fan and I've been tempted to try tab because it looks appealing in the pink cans, but never actually tried it.

I remember both. I even remember the stupid Tab jingle. "Tab tab cola what a beautiful drink tab tab cola for beautiful people tab you're beautiful to me (bla bla cant remember) just one calorie"

It tasted nasty. Fresca was gross too.

Fresca is, essentially, diet Squirt. If you don't have Squirt in your area...too bad for you, my wife says!

Squirt is grapefruit like soda. So good. I haven't had it in years. I like Ruby Red Squirt the best. I think they make it in diet?

I remember both Tab and Fresca. Will still drink the odd Fresca but hated Tab with a passion. There were a few others kicking around as well: Diet-Rite as mentioned and Crush products had a couple of diet drinks as did RC

Most grocery stores in the upper midwest carry both Tab & Fresca as many people still drink them. Haven't had them in awhile though. As for Squirt one of my Mexican co-workers uses Squirt/a squeeze of lemon and tequila (and salt on rim). Very tasty!

Like crush orange and cream soda? There are diet versions of both. They are both disgusting.

I have never heard of Tab, but sometimes I drink Fresca. It's not very good though unless it is really cold.

DH still drinks Tab. Its his favorite soda. It rarely goes on sale here, so he buys it for himself as a treat. I don't get it... ick!

I always liked Fresca when I was younger, but I didn't know it was a diet drink until one of my friends said that her parents didn't think kids should have artificial sweeteners so she wasn't allowed to have it (the parents drank it by the caseful, though, LOL). I haven't had soda in years, so I don't remember what I thought about Squirt. I don't think it tastes exactly the same, though. I never had Tab but I remember seeing it around.

I never liked Tab or Diet Rite, although I like cola, but I used to drink Fresca occasionally. I don't remember Squirt at all.

Coke Zero is in the same category as Tab, IMO:

Our stores still carry diet Crush. You're talking about the orange soda? Yep, it's still there.

I don't mind Fresca. Hated Tab, though. Ick.

Anybody remember Kickipoo Joy Juice? It's not a diet soda, just a lemon-lime type of soda. I remember it.
