Hi, I've been raising my kitten since he was just a few days old. I absolutely LOVE him! He's 6 weeks old now and such a little rascal! 
But I'm starting to notice a weird behavior. Today when I picked him up to carry him in my arms (which I do several times everyday), he all of a sudden goes berserk! He'll be calm for a few seconds in my arms then the next second he'll scratch my arms really hard, causing me to drop him, then he'll look scared or startled not at me, but at something beside me ... which is nothing! The same thing happened when my boyfriend tried carrying my kitten in his arms. We both feel bad that he fell from our arms. 
The room I keep him in (for now) is fairly quiet, so I don't know what could've startled him. Has anyone gone through a similar situation with their kitty? Any help/advice would be greatly appreciated! Thanks for reading!
