Why are 2 of my Cats trying to Feed off other cat?

Ok here;s the deal. I have 3 cats, the oldest, Buffy, is about 13 weeks old, the Middle, Eclispe, is about 11 weeks old, and the youngest, Tiger, is about 7 weeks old. Buffy and Eclispe are both female and Tiger is male. Well I can home yesterday, looked on the coutch and saw Tiger and Elcipse tring to nurse off of Buffy. Well this I found odd since Buffy isn't or never has been pregant. Buffy just lays there. Well I pulled them off and Eclispe ran off but Tiger ran back up to Buffy and tried to feed off of her again. Then today my room mate calls me and says that Tiger and Eclispe are sucking on Buffy again. What gives? How do I stop this and why doesn't Buffy kick their butts when they start sucking on her?

i think it is because kittens shouldn't really be taken away from there mom until they are 12 weeks old. So the two littler ones didn't get to finsh weening and they are doing it for comfort.

Yep getting them all fixed will help but you can for the time being go and get some Bitter Apple Spray and put it on Buffy's tummy.It will discourage the babies from wanting to nurse. A little bit of that spray goes a long way. But they were just taken from mom to early and they crave the comfort they should still be receiving.

We have a three month old kitten that is trying to suckle off our one year male cat. I think that at that age its an instinct/nurturing thing.

I hope that the Bitter Apple will also work on 2 male kittens? Both kittens are only just about 5 months old. Legolas keeps suckling on Aragorns tummy and it's driving me nuts!!!!
