Hi,

I'm in the hospital and have been since around 10 this morning. Still have not received any chemo. That will probably start around 9 pm. Right now I am getting fluids and peeing and they come in and look at it. I call then "pee gazers."

This is one fancy hospital. Valet parking, room service that you order from your room any time you need, towels folded into little flowers, laptops for patients to use and a mini fridge. Like a Hyatt with needles! I will be able to order snacks for Carolina's visit! Just no champagne. LOL

Anyway, feeling good for now. Eating carefully and considering what might be the easiest thing to come back up. UGH.

Will update tomorrow if I am up to it. Thanks for the vibes and encouragement.

Well I'm glad you're comfortable so far. I hope your treatments don't kick your butt too too badly!!

Wow, what nice accomidations, sure hope the chemo isn't TOO bad that it makes you never want to go to a Hyatt again! Pamper yourself as much as you can as you deserve it and enjoy your pee-gazers.

Best of luck with your treatment!

So glad that you are in a comfortable setting and not a sterile looking hospital environment.

Wow, next time I have to go to the hospital, I know where to go! Pee-gazers, I love it!

I'm glad you're comfortable and being pampered as much as possible. And the chemo may not affect you as much as you think. My dad didn't have a problem with chemo and my mom got a little sick but it was a few days after and didn't last long. It affects everyone differently I guess. Keeping you in my thoughts.

"Pee gazers" You sound SO good - what a great attitude!

I'm so glad you're comfortable - that's going to help a lot I think!

HEAPS of vibes that you won't feel completely horrible, and that you beat this and get ALL healthy fast!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

(I find that chocolate always comes back up the best. I know it's not exactly the healthiest choice - but for me it's a great comfort food ).

Premedications have begun. It will protect my bladder from burning. Next are the nausea meds.

Dh said my wires are calling and looking for me. I said I will talk to them on the phone tomorrow. He was going to "slap" Brillo and see if she will settle.

Thanks for the prayers, wishes and vibes. I really appreciate it.

I hope this reaches you when you are feeling good.

If you have to be in hospital, it might as well be a resort like the one you are in. So glad Carolina will be able to visit you.

As always, you are in our prayers. Hope the wires settle down a bit. They love their mom!

Keep us posted as you can and feel up to. I hope all goes great and you can come home asap!

What hospital are you in? It looks like it could be in my area...and who knows when I might need it?

The main thing missing is a kitty condo, huh?

I hope your chemo treatments go well for you. I know it's not a great thing to go thru but it does solve many problems. For me chemo just made me feel very tired and nauseous but that was all. I hope it's better for you. Everyone reacts to chemo differently, best of luck to you.

Wishing you all sorts of good vibes with your treatment!

I found, myself, that those anti-nausea drugs were fantastic - I never got sick, I followed the directions they gave me about when to take them, and they worked beautifully. But, yeah.....a bit tired the day of the treatment. Sounds like you're in a fantastic hospital, though!! What star treatment you're getting!
I wish you the very best with your treatment! Good luck!
