I have a 6 month old kitten with diarreha. She checked out fine at the vet for worms, etc. The vet put her on prescription food (only comes in an adult cat food formula) to settle her stomach, which it did, and now I am slowly trying to put her back on kitten food. However, the diarreha keeps returning with the kitten food. I have tried wellness and california natural (I give her dry and wet food). Does anyone have suggestions of kitten food that might be good to try?

I found the text in this book spot on, but the illustrations aren't helpful at all. Good over all book

This mat caught my eye because of its size and texture, which traps fine litter rather well. It's large enough for jumbo litterboxes, which is also a plus. It's not quite as easy to clean as a...

This scoop was a freebie with some clumping litter I bought last year, and I like it so much that I've bought a second one. It's perfect for fine clumping litter, which it sifts very thoroughly....

I would seriously consider adding digestive enzymes to your kittens food to help with the diarrhea. They aren't expensive and a small bottle will last quite a long time with a cat. Prozyme for example only requires you to give a 1/4 teaspoon per cup of food being fed. So if you're just feeding say half a can (2.5 oz) of canned food, you really only need a sprinkle.
This will help actually address the digestive problems.

For the wellness, just the kitten food- as far as I know, the kitten dry food does not come in different flavors. For California Natural, I am feeding her the chicken and brown rice formula for cats and kittens.
I shop at a locally owned pet store. I don't care what are the main ingredients (fish, meat, etc) as long as it is good quality.
I haven't heard about the enzymes but maybe I will call the vet and ask about it.

we had a kitten who got diarrhea when fed dry food. We started feeding him all canned and never again had a problem. His favorite was the fancy feast classic chicken. our new kitten LOVES the fancy feast gravy lover's chicken but also the walmart brand canned Naturallife chicken and turkey she adores too.

sharky is right. You need to ask what they checked for. Often it's just a worm check, and there's more parasites than that. You need to have her checked for gardia, coccidia, and tritrichomonas foetus - these are protozoa parasites that can be missed if a vet isn't specifically looking for them.
