Not quite sure what to do

I posted a bit ago about purchasing a cat tree. Well, I put half down and was told it would be done in two weeks. Two weeks have come and two more have gone and I still have no cat tree.

I tried calling the other day but only received voicemail and no response came.

The only reason that I am not full blown upset is this guy has had some serious health issues. I hope that is not what has happened.

I am not sure if I should just stop at his place to see what is up or just wait longer.

How did you come to know about him for the cat tree?

You have a business arrangement with him, and you were promised delivery 2 weeks ago. Yes, he might have health issues, but if he was not capable of fulfilling the job, he shouldn't have over extended himself and taken on the job.

Call him and politely ask how much longer it will be.

Go to the shop and find out what's going on. Four weeks over due with no explanation is not on. He can't put you off if you walk in.

I would stop by and ask when I could expect my cat tree. I would be very understanding if a health issue has caused a delay, but you deserve to know why the item you made a down payment on wasn't ready on time.

Sorry, I didn't realize that she has called and not received a call back. I agree, stop by or put a note in the mailbox.

You've been expecting the package too long and it is really good if you could stop and ask few things.

I got a call from him today and he left a message on my voicemail stating that his "secretary" left three messages for me on my voicemail and they have not heard from me. What a crock of BS. He is a customer of mine at work so he knows where I work and he has gone out of his way to not come to our branch. I decided not to go to his house because I didn't want any issues with finding his address and his information from work.

I am so livid at his lies. I want my money back since I have already purchased another tree. Of course, I could always have two.......

Yes, you could always have two trees and I'm sure the cats would appreciate both of them. But you need to find out what's going on with your order.

Since you've not had a decent response, I'd go to his place and find out. I know you don't want issues with getting his address from work, but you need to find out where the tree is.

I hope you can just get your money back.

I can understand and emphatize in regards to his health problems, and I know that makes it kind of an awkard situation. But there is no excuse for him lying to you about the voice mail. I hope this guy will do right by you.

I would leave one more message saying if you do not get a PROMPT refund or the cat tree the matter will be dealt with by your attorney or the courts... Usually only a threat of legal action is needed

Finally talked to the cat tree guy. He claims he has been in the hospital on and off. I told him he was really close to being sued and he told me I was. I then told him that he would have had to provide proof that I was contacted and that does not exist.

So far the ending is that I will be getting another cat condo . Now there will be a perch for each of my furbabies. Plus, this one is pink leopard fur!
