As we were heading up to desi place we passed a black and white cat-looked young. I often see them on parkway and angers me cause I don't know what to make of it-almost always black and white not fully grown. Hope you went fast

It's always so sad. A couple of months ago I was driving on a local road and saw a young orange cat, dead in the middle of the road. I stopped and moved him to the side, just hate it when they get run over again and again. Must have just happened, he was still limp.

Sometimes it cannot be helped - they suddenly run out or you cannot safely stop. Squirrels are the worst. They run, stop, reverse direction, change their little rodent minds again.

When I see a cat dead in the road it always saddens me. Over the Rainbow Bridge to happier days for the unknown little black and white domino cat you were so sweet to memorialize here.

I'm such a sap for animals that I'm saying prayers every damn day on the way to work for raccoons (mostly) on the road who were hit in the night. I never get immune. It's upsetting.

But when I see cats who have been hit, I just can't stand it.

THANK GOD! I've never hit a cat, that I know of. Once I hit a rabbit. And another time a mother raccoon who had 3 cubs (sleepless nights for night after night). But the worst was when I ran over a dog.

But in the end that was the best because the dog lived and I became acquainted with the owner. For over 10 years, as long as "Raja" lived, she sent me a Christmas card. In the end her owner let me know she had passed on from old age.

May it never happen to you!

Thanks for caring about the poor little black and white kitty.

Robin
