It's rainy here this morning so on glad I'm not going out any where today

I think i might do some tidying up

Rainy here as well, but it's stopped for a minute

My last day today, then i have a long weekend!!

Housework when i get in this afternoon, then that's me relaxing for the weekend

Cool and rainy here this morning, too, but it's better than snow, so I'll take it. Dark Mavis, you can be glad you're in CA.....you've got much warmer temps AND you've got lots of lemons to boot! We have to get through the weekend, then temps will be on the rise again and will be above normal for next week.

Not doing much tonight...DH is bowling early and he's working OT this afternoon, so dinner has to be ready as soon as he gets home. I'm thinking of penne with chicken and tomatoes. And a nice salad to go with.

Tonight is an exercise night for me, so I'll be in the basement for awhile.

Well I have a half day here at work today as I have a doctor's appointment this afternoon to discuss the change of a hystorectomy. Here's hoping that if I can't convince her to go with that, that I can at least find some kind of solution.

After the doctor's appointment, Dana and I are going to go to the gym as he took half the day off too, to be with me.

Tonight we'll watch the newest SOA episode and relax a bit. Have a good day all!

It is so fudgey gross outside today. Rain Rain GO AWAY!

Cleaning today and have to start a godawful HOT fire because our stupid dryer blew up....again!!!!!! The electric people came the other day to run the garage to the house so its on one bill. Well it turns out there were some MAJOR problems with the outside box, they fixed it, and because the dryer was so used to it running the way it was it fried the motor. Go figure this is the EXACT SAME thing that happened when we first bought the dryer, some idiot ran the stove and dryer on the same breaker, we fixed it rewired and the dryer blew up because it was used to running the way it was. So now we have to go to Aarons and rent a stupid dryer till we can buy a new one. I knew we should have just gone bankrupt and bought the ridiculously expensive set.......you know those gorgeous front loaders with the glass doors that have too many cycles and too many options and are really pretty...Yeah shoulda coulda woulda too late....too bad so sad. Now we just need to decide do we jump the gun and go ahead and get the really pretty washer and dryer set or do we just get the cheapo crappy dryer that matches the washer.


Something good better be happening soon or Im going to start thinking that we are doomed to forever have bad things happen to us!!! Seriously everytime something good happens something really bad follows.....now another bad thing happens and Im stuck with stupid crunchy clothes that have to be hung to dry next to the wood stove.

Morning... started out early with moving my car so BF could get his out of the driveway.. he usually parks in the street but didn't last night because he was having car trouble. So he took it in to PepBoys, and I picked him up and took him to work. So, early start to the day, but all that driving made it a late start to actually doing things!

Super Study Day today for my test tomorrow. So I'm skipping the Hopheads tasting tonight. So is BF, he's got some stuff to get caught up on too, and ew're having a Bonfire Night Party tomorrow!! (he's English.)

Pam- yes I am happy to be in CA! Another hot one today, 86 already, going up to 95!! Woo!! And the lemons... always the lemons.. The oranges and tangerines are turning though, it's becoming scary to see how many we're really going to have! I hope food banks will take some!

3CatsN1Dog- why don't you look on Craigslist or newspaper classifieds to a cheap dryer, for $50 or something maybe, at least to hold you over a while? It'd be cheaper than renting one I'm sure. There are options, you just gotta look into them!!

Good evening

Dreary rainy day today, boo. Went to work and the system was going slowwwwwww. Took me forever to get started and by the time I was done with the scanning of labels, it was lunch time. Hubby and I went to get him a new phone for the first time in 3.5 years, he got a Casio Ravine, tough phone to last him another 3.5 years we hope. That lunch took two hours

By the time I got back to work I'd lost motivation. Then I was done weighing up soil samples, was putting in 5mL of water, and dropped one of the trays on the counter, spilling 24 tubes I wasn't feelin' doing them again today, so my analyst has an easier day tomorrow and I'll just redo it for Monday. Ugh was so angry. Was excited my cute fuzzy boots I ordered were supposed to be delivered today, so at least I had something to look forward to!

Got home, no boots. Door tag on the door said 2 packages arrived but were brought back to Fed-Ex, IN-PERSON signature required. Okay, I understand hubby's $1100 package, but my flippin' $35 boots? Argh! I was so upset I almost cried on my porch My brother in law works for Fed Ex so he was going to put a hold on the package tomorrow and pick it up when he goes to work tomorrow. My boots were going to be the most exciting part of my day, especially after the crud with dropping my samples!

Hubby made me a tasty dinner tonight though, so that was a plus. So definitely ready to go to bed early though.

I got my Thurs. meetings/appts. mixed up with my Fri. meetings/appts. so tomorrow I have 2 appts. and I haven't yet rescheduled the meeting. What an airhead I was!
