So she came to me with the name Slinky and it suits her but I'd rather name her something else...

So far my husband and I have narrowed down the choices to:
-Sookie
-Tarte
-Xena

I thought you were calling her Sookie? Whenever possible I'd prefer to keep the names sounding somewhat similar, Slinky and Sookie would sound similar to a cat and be an easy adjustment.

I like Sookie the best out of the three.

If you're open to other suggestions, I also like:

Capri
Stella
Mable
Delilah
Lucy
Maddie
Sadie
Belle
Moxie
Starla
Twiggy
Maya

Congrats on the new addition!!

I like Sookie.
I just got a new shelter cat whom I ADORE...can't believe how awesome we have bonded. I also am having difficulty naming him. I find myself calling him somethin different every time "trying out" different names. I am getting to the point where I don't know if I can decide on any one name. If you don't mind me hi-jacking, perhaps I can petition some help as well? Here he is I have had many thoughts ranging from: Francois, Franco, Felip, Geordie, Pino, Geo, Fonso, Pierre, Chaplin, Favio, ... Oh man, the choices. He has a cute mustache and extra toes, he is super friendly and explorative. And unlike my other cats, he is very athletic/ macho.

How about Stash... as in mustache? He's a stunner, BTW!!

I'm thinking Natalie when I look at her. I don't know why. Whatever you name her, she's stunning.

I like Federico. He's very manly, and yet, so cute!

Thanks for the help... I left the final decision up to my 3 and 6 year old boys....they picked Chaplin, which makes me happy, because it is unique and I am a fan of unique. They have already nicknamed him Chappy. ha! Now I MUST find a little black derby hat for him.

filamgirl618, any luck with your decision yet?

Our final decision is.... SOOKIE!

Thanks everyone for the help! However, when I talked to my husband about he said, "It's not Sookie, it's Sou-keh (you know TB fans...how Bill says it)..." Anyways. Thanks again!

Coming from a fellow cat owner with a cat named Sophie-Ann...I greatly approve of this name choice!
