My siamese mix is about 7 months old and I have had her approximately one month. There is one other cat in the houseold, a 5 1/2 year old orange tabby. Both cats are spayed. The new cat was accepted by the other older cat very well and they get along fine.
The problem is with the new cat. She use the litter box for both urination and defecation during the day but defecates on the carpet during the night, but not in the same places. There are two litter boxes and both are kept exceptionally clean and changed frequently.
This happens only at night. She is wonderful about using the litter box during the day time. She has been to the vet and there are no health problems.
Any advise would be greatly appreciated.
